Wal-Mart Retains Top Spot in Supplier Satisfaction Surve

August, 2007 – In the 2007 Supplier Satisfaction Survey Report published by Business Information of Shanghai, Wal-Mart has once again secured the top spot of the general satisfaction index and this is the fourth consecutive year for Wal-Mart to win recognition from suppliers as “Most Supplier-friendly Retail Chain”.
The report engaged supplier enterprises from a wide array of industries, covering a total of 52 retailers, mainly operating in the Yangtze River Delta.
In the report, Wal-Mart tops a series of satisfaction indexes. In particular, Wal-Mart scored the highest, 3.83, in the General Satisfaction Index, up from last year; in the Charge Index, Wal-Mart recorded the lowest 2.46, even lower compared to a year ago; in the Credibility Index and Flow Management Index, Wal-Mart continues to leading ahead, scoring 4.21 and 3.82 respectively.
