Wal-Mart, Kimberly-Clark Charity Event Kicks Off

On October, 277h, the Wal-Mart, Kimberly-Clark charity sale kick-off event was held in Shenzhen. The joint initiative, featuring a theme of “Give me a pair of happy wings”, aimed at raising wider public awareness on helping disabled children. The charity sale will last for 10 days in Shenzhen SAM’S CLUB and the total donation will be given to Bao’an Social Welfare Center to build a multi-functional sports field for the kids. As an outstanding corporate citizen, Wal-Mart actively participates in community service and charity events, and has donated funds and in-kind support worth more than RMB24 million to local charity and welfare organizations over the past ten years.
